Hello Lovelies!

I know it's been awhile, but there has been a lot going on over here in my little part of the world. My job has been a lot more demanding this year, and I tend to always have a lot more time for blogging during the late winter/spring. I always find my way back to you!

This weekend we went to Disney On Ice with little Miss P, and it was a blast. I love her personality right now. She is so full of fun and laughter. She's quite my favorite person ever!

Now let's get down to it. As a mom, I am always looking to get ready super quick in the morning. But as a makeup artist--not so much. It can be hard to strike a balance between wanting to look my very best because I am a makeup perfectionist--and wanting more sleep. As a mom, I can never get enough of that...EVER!

My go to morning look is simple, fast, yet still glam enough for my standards. It still says put together without taking forever! Here are my tips to a quick, yet beautiful face for work.

1. Primer
It's easy to try and skip this step, but if you truly want to look good all day long you cannot afford to skip this step. My favorite cheap primer is this one. For a more high end option that is slightly better you could go with this one!

2. Foundation
To speed up the foundation process I go with a good long wear foundation spread with a beauty blender! I make symmetrical dots all around my face and blend them to perfection with a beauty blender. I like this drugstore foundation, and this high end foundation. Of course there are many beauty blenders, but this one is my favorite.

3. Concealer
I use 4 different concealers on a really glam day for my face...BUT I have the dark circles from hell. For most people, one will do. This concealer is my favorite high end option. This one is a good drugstore option. Just a little concealer to brighten up the under eye area will keep you looking fresh and awake all day!

4. Bronzer
For quick every day makeup routine I like to just use bronzer. No need to really contour to go to work--you can always add more later. To save time I also use my bronzer as my eye shadow.  My favorite drugstore bronzer is this one, and my favorite high end bronzer is this one.

5. Highlight
On days when I am running short on time this is the step that I CANNOT skip! A good glow can go a long way in making you look awake, fresh, and put together. I also use my highligher on my eyes. My favorite budget friendly option is this one, and my favorite high end highlight is this one.

6. Brows
This is another step that can make such a huge difference. To be quick I love a good tinted brow gel if you have thicker eyebrows like this one. If you have thinner natural brows I love this product to quickly carve out the brows.

That's it! I hope you all have a fabulous Monday. I would love to know what is in your quick makeup routine?

Caroline
