Beauty Favs

Can you tell I am trying to bring the blog back full force?

It has been so long since I have done a favorites post, and yet, I have so many new favorites to share with you.

This week I am going to devote my favorites list to my favorite beauty items. Since that it my wheelhouse--I figured we should bring it back there.

1. Beautiful Full Brows
There is nothing more in now that gorgeous luscious full brows. It frames your face and just makes everything look complete. I am in love with it mostly because I have naturally fuller brows. It's definitely a good thing for me that they are in. My favorite product to use to achieve this look is the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade. Nothing else that I have used has been as close to my natural color, and as long wearing as this stuff. And such a small amount goes such a long way. I am in LOVE!

2. All Natural Acne Prevention
A few months ago I got on the essential oil bandwagon. The main thing that it has added to my every day routine is the use of Tea Tree oil in my moisturizer every day. The second on I put it on I can feel my face start to warm up and tingle in the areas that are prone for acne breakouts. I have noticed a decrease in the number and severity of breakouts since using the oil.

3. Super long wearing lip color
A few months ago I came across a lip gloss called LipSense. It claims to be super long wearing and that it helps repair your lips. I was skeptical at first, but decided to try it out. Let me tell you, it is the longest wearing lip product I have ever experienced. I have to scrub a bit with my makeup remover to even budge it at the end of the day. If you have never been a lipstick person because it is too high maintenance to reapply every hour--then this is the stuff for you. If you want to try to out, then let me know. I can order some for you! Seriously--you need this in your life!

4. Banana Powder
As someone who has some serious under eye baggage (thanks Mom!). I am a constant over-user of concealer. I hate that I sometimes have transfer from my mascara and eyeliner onto my concealer. That is when Banana powder changed my life. Since it is slightly yellow it is great for highlighting and it neutralizes dullness--AKA my baggies under the eyes. A win win. Get you some of this stuff!

5. Hourglass Strobing Powders
If there is anything that is more in than full brows--this is it. Highlighting is so big right now. These babies make you look lit from within. Who wouldn't want to look like they are glowing even when it has been the longest day on record. Which is every Monday for me--don't know about you. My favorite powder for highlighting is the Hourglass Strobing Powder. It is creamy, silky and just plain gorgeous. Yes, it is really pricey, but it's so worth it! If you like a really standout highlight--use a cheaper liquid highlighter underneath the powder for a double whammy of glow!

That's it for my fav beauty products of the week, day, second. It is constantly evolving in my world!

Thank god it's hump day!
